Wild Rice Curry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. wild rice, uncooked
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 c. Miracle Whip
    2 c. chicken, chopped
    1 c. celery, cut up
    1/4 c. green pepper
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained
    toasted, slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    Drain.
    Mix rice, vinegar, oil, salt and curry powder.
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    Just before serving, combine everything and place in lettuce lined bowl.
    Top with almonds.
    Serves 6 to 8.
