Indonesian Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. meaty pork spareribs
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1 tsp. coriander
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. Kikkoman soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. peanut or vegetable oil
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/8 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Have ribs chopped in pieces.
    Fry in oil until brown. Remove from pan. Fry onions and garlic in same pan until light brown. Add coriander, cumin and pepper. Saute. Add brown sugar, soy sauce and salt. Return ribs to pan. Saute. Add 1 1/2 cups water. Cover and simmer until tender. Serves 4 to 6.
