Congealed Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot Jell-O
    1 large (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, do not drain
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 can mandarin oranges, drained
    1/2 to 1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Put dry gelatin in pineapple juice in saucepan (4 cup size); bring to a boil (do not boil).
    Take off heat and cool.
    Add Cool Whip, buttermilk, mandarin oranges and nuts.
    Pour in a 9 x 13-inch dish and chill.
