Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. thick milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients and save 1 cup for crumb topping. To remainder, add remaining ingredients.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 20 to 35 minutes in a greased and floured square or oblong pan. Can make cupcakes also.
