Gyro Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. fine, fresh bread crumbs (1 slice)
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. crushed mint leaves (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4. corn oil
    3 (6-inch) round pita bread
    3/4 c. shredded lettuce
    1 small tomato, diced
    1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Stir together beef, crumbs, onion, 1 tablespoon of the parsley, mint, salt, cinnamon, allspice and pepper.
    Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls.
    Heat 1/8 cup of oil in a large skillet.
    Add meatballs and brown evenly, turning occasionally, until done.
