Almost Heaven - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow box cake
1 can crushed pineapple
1 small instant vanilla pudding
2 c. milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
toasted nuts, coconut or crushed candy for topping

Preparation

Bake cake as directed.
While still hot, prick with a fork and spread juice and crushed pineapple over top.
Let stand until cool or overnight.
Prepare the pudding as directed.
Add the cream cheese.
Spread over cake.
Cover with Cool Whip.
Top with nuts, coconut or crushed candy.
