Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green tomatoes
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    flour
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes 1/4-inch thick.
    Mix egg and milk.
    Dip tomato slices in the mixture and coat with flour.
    Fry in deep fat or pan-fry until golden brown.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
