Shredded Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large Winesap apples, peeled and shredded
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 stick melted butter
    pastry for 2-crust pie
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and put into unbaked pie shell. Cut remaining pastry into strips and place crisscrossed across top of pie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
