Microwave Caramel Corn(Filer Township Aux.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. popcorn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. light Karo syrup
Preparation
    Pop the popcorn and place in large heavy paper bag.
    Place remaining ingredients in 4-cup Pyrex measuring cup.
    Bring to boil on High in microwave (takes about 2 minutes).
    Boil for 2 minutes on High, watch so it doesn't boil over.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and stir until foaming.
    Pour over popcorn and shake well. Cook another 1 1/2 minutes and shake bag.
    Cook 30 seconds and shake well.
    Cook another 30 seconds.
    Cool in bag.
    When cool, break it up.
    Store in covered container.
