Whole Wheat Pizza Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 egg, well beaten
3 Tbsp. dry milk
2 1/2 c. flour (whole wheat)
Preparation

Thoroughly mix undissolved yeast with 1/3 of flour and all other dry ingredients.
Heat liquids with shortening over low heat until very warm.
(Shortening does not need to melt.)
Add liquids to dry ingredients.
Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer.
Add 1/2 cup flour and beaten eggs.
Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in additional flour.
Refrigerate. Shape dough and let rise until twice in size.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for pizza for 12 to 15 minutes.
