Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. food color (optional)
Preparation
    Cook syrup, sugar and salt on medium heat.
    Boil about 4 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and color.
    Mix and pour over popcorn.
    Shape into balls with buttered hands.
