Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    nuts
    1 pkg. butterscotch chips
    2 c. oatmeal
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugars.
    Add beaten eggs, then hot water. Add flour mixed with soda.
    Add nuts, oats and vanilla; then the butterscotch morsels.
    Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
