Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. oleo
3 c. plain flour, sifted with 1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
8 oz. sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well, usually 8 to 10 minutes, as this is the secret to a fine grained cake.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour and sour cream alternately, starting and ending with flour.
Add vanilla.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites with the salt beaten in.
Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
