Florida Fish Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. hot water
1 c. diced potatoes
1 lb. fish fillets
2 c. half cream and milk
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
Preparation

Fry bacon and remove.
Add onion to drippings.
Saute until lightly browned.
You may add chopped bacon to chowder if you desire.
Add water and potatoes.
Cook until potatoes are almost done.
Cut fillets into pieces, approximately 1-inch square.
Add fish to mixture and cook until fish flakes when tested with fork. Pour in milk and seasonings.
Heat and serve.
Serves 6.
