Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (6 lb.) chicken, cut into pieces
    2 tsp. salt
    4 qt. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 large onion, sliced
    2 carrots, cleaned and chopped
    2 stalks celery, washed and chopped
    3 cans biscuits
    3 cans chicken broth
Preparation
    Place chicken, salt, water, vinegar, onion, chicken broth, carrots and celery in large soup kettle, adding more water if necessary to cover the chicken.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover; reduce heat to simmer.
    Cook until meat almost falls off the bones. Strain the broth and reserve the meat.
    Remove skin and bones from the chicken.
    Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
    Bring broth and chicken to a boil.
    Tear or cut biscuits into pieces and drop into the boiling broth.
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Uncover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
