Rhineland-German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes
    1 lb. frankfurters
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 large green pepper, halved, seeded and chopped
    1 large red pepper, halved, seeded and chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Peel potatoes; cut into thin slices.
    Cook in boiling salted water 15 minutes or until tender; drain well.
