Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, stir together syrup, sugar, peanuts and salt.
    Microwave at High for 4 minutes.
    Stir and cook 4 minutes longer.
    Add butter and vanilla to the syrup mixture. Blend well.
    Microwave on High for 1 minute longer.
    Add the soda and lightly stir until light and foamy.
    Pour onto a sheet of aluminum foil.
    Let cool for 1 hour.
    When cool, break into small pieces.
