Pickled Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar, to your taste
    1 large onion, sliced in rings
Preparation
    Mix vinegar and sugar in a container with a tight fitting lid. Add your sliced onions making sure the liquid covers the onions. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving.
    This is great with fresh green beans!
