Pebernodder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. butter or margarine
    6 c. cream or milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    7 c. sugar
    cardamom seed to taste *
    flour to make a stiff dough
Preparation
    *Break pods; remove seeds and crush them with wooden spoon (use 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons of crushed seed).
