Spaghetti And White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 cloves garlic, finely minced
    2 shallots, finely chopped
    1/4 c. Italian parsley
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1 small bottle clam juice
    1 can clams or fresh
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. spaghetti
Preparation
    Heat the oil and butter in a skillet.
    Add garlic and shallots and cook until lightly browned.
    Add the parsley, clam juice and wine.
    Also add salt and pepper.
    Bring to boil and let simmer for fifteen minutes.
    Add the clams and cook five more minutes.
    Serve over cooked spaghetti.
    May serve with hot pepper flakes.
