Creamed Dried Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 lb. dried beef, shredded fine
    8 Tbsp. flour
    dash of pepper
    4 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add dried beef.
    Cook slowly 5 minutes or until edges begin to curl.
    Remove from heat.
    Blend in flour and pepper.
    Stir in milk.
    Bring to boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Serve over toast.
