Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    2/3 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup and water in pan.
    Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved, then cook to 260\u00b0.
    Remove and pour in a thin stream into beaten egg whites, beating constantly.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Beat until hard enough to pour out.
