Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    Crisco (ball size of walnut)
    8 oz. very warm water
    2 qt. chicken broth
    chicken, cooked and chopped
Preparation
    Cut Crisco into flour until well blended.
    Stir in warm water to make a dough.
    When
    all gathers together so that the bowl is left clean,
    dump
    onto well-floured surface and knead until very stiff.
    Put in
    bowl.
    Cover
    and
    chill.
    Roll out dough on well-floured surface until very thin (1/8-inch).
    Cut into 1-inch wide strips.
    Bring
    broth to rolling boil.
    Pinch strips into 2-inch pieces
    and\tdrop into boiling broth.
    Turn down to simmer. Add chopped chicken and cover.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
