Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 1/2 c. Quaker oats
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet morsels
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In a small bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt.
    In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars.
    Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Add flour mixture to creamed egg mixture.
    Stir in oats, chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes.
    Makes 4 dozen cookies.
