Ambrosia - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 sm. (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 sm. (3 oz.) box orange Jello
    1 sm. can pineapple chunks in juice
    1 can Mandarin oranges
    1 small jar cherries
    1 3 oz. can coconut
    1 bag mini-marshmallows
Preparation
    Empty jello into a bowl, add 1/3 c. boiling water.
    Mix well. Add about 1/4 cup pineapple juice (drained from chunks) and add about 2 cups ice cubes.
    Let thicken and remove cubes.
    Mix in Cool Whip.
    Add all fruit, making sure it has been drained.
    DO NOT add any more fruit juice.
    Add about 3/4 can coconut and 1/4 bag of marshmallows.
    Mix well.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Make a few hours in advance of serving.
