Deer Over Coals - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 deer steaks
    1 1/2 c. dry red wine
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    3/4 c. olive oil
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 bay leaf, crushed
    1 can mushrooms
    salt and lemon pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients, except the deer and mushrooms, in a large pot.
    Add steaks and marinate in refrigerator 6 hours.
    If the meat is frozen, do not defrost, just increase the marinating time by at least 2 hours.
    Cook the steaks on a grill over hot coals for about 4 minutes on each side or until doneness, basting with marinating sauce several times.
    Heat the mushrooms in butter for a steak topping.
