Summer Cider Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 qt. apple juice or cider
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook water and sugar in saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Combine juices in a pitcher. Add cooled syrup and serve over ice cubes.
    Yield:
    5 cups punch.
