Herbed Liver - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. imitation or diet margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
pinch of marjoram leaves
8 oz. sliced beef or calves liver
Preparation

Combine margarine and lemon juice in custard cup.
Put cup in hot water and simmer until margarine melts.
Add herbs and set aside.
Sprinkle liver with salt and pepper and put in greased baking dish.
Broil five inches from source of heat for 3 minutes until liver is browned.
Turn and brown other side.
Pour margarine mixture over liver.
Broil 1 more minute.
Serve.
