Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 oz. red food coloring
    1 oz. water (use bottle)
    3 Tbsp. Nestle Quik
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix together red food coloring, water and Quik; set aside. Cream together shortening and sugar; add eggs and first mixture. Beat 2 minutes.
    Add buttermilk, flour, salt and vanilla; cream for 10 minutes.
    By hand, add vinegar and soda.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in greased and floured pan.
