Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. unshelled, uncooked peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. margarine
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Butter a baking sheet 15 1/2 x 2-inches.
    Keep warm.
    In 2-quart casserole, mix nuts, sugar, syrup and salt.
    Microwave on High 4 minutes; stir and microwave 4 minutes.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Microwave 1 or 2 minutes longer.
    Syrup will be hot and peanuts lightly browned.
    Stir in soda until lightly colored and foamy.
    Pour onto warm cookie sheet.
    Don't spread.
    Allow to set until cool enough to handle.
    Stretch to make thinner, if desired. Cool and break into pieces.
