Mom'S Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar (3/4 c. if sweet apples)
1 c. margarine
1 c. water
1 c. sugar (3/4 if sweet apples)
3 1/2 to 4 c. apples
1 tsp. apple spice mix, cinnamon or nutmeg, etc
1 can Hungry Jack biscuits
Preparation

Melt in baking dish:
1 cup sugar, margarine and water.
Mix together 1 cup sugar, apples, apple spice mix and cinnamon or nutmeg, etc.
Roll out biscuits separately.
Put apple mixture in center.
Fold and pinch tops together.
Place in baking dish in melted butter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. While cooking, spoon the juice and butter in bottom of pan over dumplings occasionally.
June apples are good.
