Ingredients

1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine the corn syrup, butter and brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to boiling point.
Remove immediately.
Combine flour and nuts and blend into syrup mixture.
Drop dough onto heavily greased cookie sheets about 4 inches apart to allow for flattening and spreading.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool 1 minute and remove from cookie sheets.
Cookies may be slightly soft when removed from oven.
