Village Inn Red Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    3 Tbsp. red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening, eggs and sugar.
    Add cocoa and food coloring.
    Add buttermilk, flour and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Put soda and vinegar together; mix quick and add to cake mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
