Chilled Pasta Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 oz. linguine or fettucine
1 c. thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
1 medium carrot, shredded
1/4 c. sliced green onion
6 cherry tomatoes, halved
2 Tbsp. salad oil
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1 medium zucchini, thinly sliced
1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
2 to 3 drops bottled hot pepper sauce
2 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
Preparation

Cook pasta according to package directions.
Rinse and drain well.
In bowl, toss pasta, mushrooms, carrot, green onion, zucchini, cucumber and tomatoes.
Combine salad oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, sesame oil and hot pepper sauce.
Cover and shake well.
Pour dressing over pasta mixture and toss to coat. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seed.
Garnish with parsley.
Yield: 6 servings.
