Broccoli-Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    6 c. chicken broth
    8 oz. vermicelli noodles
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
    1/8 plus tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. milk
    1/4 to 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    Cajun seasoning
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil.
    Add chicken broth.
    Break up noodles and add to broth.
    Boil approximately 3 minutes.
    Add chopped broccoli and garlic; cook approximately 4 minutes.
    Add milk, cheese and seasoning to taste and cook over low heat until cheese is melted.
