Chicken-Almond Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1/2 c. finely chopped cooked chicken
2 Tbsp. chopped almonds, toasted
dash of paprika
Preparation

Makes 4 to 5 dozen puffs.
Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease baking sheet and set aside.
In saucepan over low heat, heat butter and broth until butter is melted.
In small bowl, stir together flour, salt and mixture all at once to saucepan.
Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball and pulls away from sides of saucepan.
Remove pan from heat; cool 5 to 10 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Continue beating until thick and glossy dough is formed.
Stir in chicken, almonds and paprika.
Drop by small teaspoon onto prepared baking sheet; bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 10 minutes, or until puffs are golden brown.
