Cinnamon-Raisin Biscuits - cooking recipe

1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. raisins
1 c. milk
butter, melted
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 to 2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Combine the first 6 ingredients; cut in butter with pastry blender until it resembles coarse corn meal.
Add raisins and milk.
Stir in dry ingredients until moist.
Knead dough on floured surface 10 times.
Roll to 3/4 inch thickness.
Cut with biscuit cutter.
Brush with melted butter.
Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
