Ingredients

1/2 c (1 stick) softened margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg (or 2 egg whited, or egg substitute to equal 1 egg)
2 Tbsp. skim milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat margarine, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour and baking powder.
Chill dough to make handling easier.
Make small rounded spoon size balls and flatten slightly on baking sheet.
Can sprinkle with additional sugar if desired.
(Dough can also be rolled out and cut out into shapes.) Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes on lightly greased cookie sheets.
