Drop Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    5 tsp. shortening
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour once, measure and add baking powder and salt.
    Sift this mixture again into a mixing bowl.
    Cut in the shortening until mixture looks like coarse meal.
    Add milk and stir until soft, wet dough is formed.
    Drop from a teaspoon onto a greased baking sheet.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 450\u00b0.
