Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. strained pumpkin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon
Preparation

Combine
pumpkin,
sugar,
salt
and spices.
Mix well. Add milk,
beaten
eggs
and flavoring.
Pour into pie crust. Bake until
set in moderate oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer.
Makes 1 pie.
This recipe can be used also for sweet potato or squash pies.
