Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
red food coloring
1 qt. raw strawberries
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Mix water, sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Bring to a boil while stirring. Cook until thick and clear.
Add jello and a little red food coloring.
Stir in.
Let cool.
Add strawberries to baked pie shell.
Pour the cooled glaze over the strawberries and chill in refrigerator.
Serve with whipped cream.
