Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
1 cake yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Scald milk.
Pour over sugar, salt and shortening.
Beat one egg.
Add to milk mixture, then add yeast.
Add enough flour to make a thick batter.
Beat until smooth.
Add the rest of the flour.
Put in a greased bowl and let dough rise until double in bulk.
Remove from bowl and knead on floured surface.
Shape into rolls.
Place in a greased baking pan.
Let rise to double in bulk (for about 1 hour).
Bake until brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
