Moist Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2 egg whites
    1 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. warm milk
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
Preparation
    Grease an 8 x 8 x 2-inch metal pan with peanut oil.
    Cream the butter, sugar and egg yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Add sifted ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with the warm milk. Stir in the cornmeal.
    Fold in the egg whites.
    Put either into prepared metal pan or muffin cups lined with papers. Bake at 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
