Cherry Surprise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Wesson oil
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Beat sugar and oil together.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Combine flour with baking powder; add vanilla. Beat all together.
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour half of batter in pan.
    Spread pie filling over batter.
    Add rest of the batter. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon for topping.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until done.
