Fruit Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 lb. candied cherries
2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Grease 9 x 12-inch pan.
Pour nuts on bottom of pan.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, flour and vanilla.
Mix well and pour over nuts.
Sprinkle fruit over batter.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Cut in bars while warm.
