Apple Cake\ - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
pinch of salt
1 c. raisins (white)
1 c. figs, drained and chopped
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 1/2 c. chopped apples (fresh or cooked with 2 tsp. soda; stir in shortly before using)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; beat well.
Sift together flour, spices and salt; add to creamed mixture.
Stir in raisins, figs, nuts and apples.
Cook in waxed paper lined tube pan at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Don't overcook.
To use loaf pan, you may need to change cooking time.
