Carrots Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced carrots
    1/4 c. crushed soda crackers
    1 tsp. onion powder or onion salt
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine or butter
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook carrots in 1/2-inch boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Drain.
    Combine crackers, onion powder, green pepper and pepper. Alternate layers of carrots and crumb mixture in greased 1-quart baking dish.
    Pour butter over and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
