Pierogi One-Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 potatoes, boiled and mashed
    1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 onion, minced
    2 c. cooked noodles (kluski)
Preparation
    After mashing potatoes, mix in cheddar cheese.
    Saute onion in butter.
    In a well-greased casserole dish, place a layer of noodles, potatoes, then onions.
    Repeat with second layer, cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Sour cream may be added when serving.
