Glazed Onions And Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut in 1/2-inch slices
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen whole white onions
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place carrots in large saucepan with 1-inch boiling water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add onions; cook 5 minutes longer. Drain.
    Return vegetables to saucepan; add margarine, brown sugar, ginger and salt.
    Stir frequently.
    Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, enough time to glaze.
    Makes about 4 cups.
