French Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick margarine, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. coconut
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine eggs and sugar.
    Mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients. Mix and pour into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake until brown, or when you shake the pie, it is firm.
    Yield:
    8 slices.
